Dungarpur. Concern was expressed regarding the increasing incidents of cyber crimes and awareness was raised. The public was informed that in case of any suspicious activity or fraud, they can immediately contact the toll-free numbers ‘100, 112, 1090 or 1930’ for assistance. The occasion was the Women’s Empowerment and Awareness Program. It was organized jointly by the district administration, police department, medical department, education department, women empowerment department, and Rajivika at the DIET campus in Bichiwada. The aim of the program was to teach self-defense techniques to women, raise awareness about protection from cyber crimes, and provide information about their rights. Superintendent of Police Mrs. Monica Sen was especially present. Under her direction, the Self Defense Team and Kalika Patrolling Unit provided practical self-defense training to women and girls. In public places such as schools, colleges, hostels, and bus stands, women were trained and taught techniques to respond quickly in any emergency situation. Expressing concern over the increasing incidents of cyber crimes, the team raised awareness among the general public that in case of any suspicious activity or fraud, they can immediately contact the toll-free numbers '100, 112, 1090 or 1930' for assistance. In the program, various officials were present, including Additional Director of the Women's Empowerment Department Motilal Meena, District Manager of Rajivika Mr. Pankaj Dave, Block Project Manager of Shivsagar, Dr. Bhoomika Bhatt from the Medical Department, In-charge of the Kalika Patrolling Unit and Women Police Station Officer Mr. Sakarama Uni. Approximately '450 women' associated with the Rajivika block clusters participated in this awareness workshop. They were provided detailed information about becoming self-reliant, obtaining information about government schemes, receiving legal assistance in cases of harassment, and utilizing health services.
