5 new topics added in REET, questions of Rajasthani language-literature along with new education policy will be asked

REET exam is going to be organized in the state by Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education. Level one exam will be held in one shift and level two exam will be held in two shifts. Level one exam will be held in the morning shift on 27th February. Whereas the level two exam will be conducted on 27th February in the afternoon shift and on 28th February in the morning shift. The papers of both the days will be different. The exam in the first shift will be from 10 am and the second shift will be from 2.30 pm. Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education will release the admit card on 19th February for the exam to be held on 27th and 28th February.
As compared to the previous REET exam, new topics have been included in the level one and level two papers in the syllabus of REET 2024 this time. This time the candidates will be asked questions related to Rajasthani language along with Rajasthani literature. In which one will have to read about general knowledge of Rajasthani language, Rajasthani literature-writers, early childhood care and education in National Education Policy, basic literacy and numeracy, curriculum and pedagogy in schools, teachers, equality values and inclusive education, standard setting and accreditation for school education and contemporary child welfare educational schemes of Rajasthan. Along with this, a new topic has also been added in Urdu along with general introduction of Rajasthani language and dialect.

This time the board administration has taken special decisions to prevent fraud and copying in the examination. Under this, the candidate will be given admission in any examination center only after going through the prescribed procedure. Here the activities of the examination center across the state can be seen through LED. The officers sitting in the control room will be able to see the examination conducting process in the camera from the start of the examination to the end. Special cameras will be installed at sensitive centers. There will be recording and videography from the entrance of the center to the examination hall. Also, QR code has been printed on every admit card to prevent fake candidates in the examination. Due to which the complete information of the candidate can be obtained from a QR code.
Reet 2024 candidates will have biometric attendance, exam papers will reach the examination center directly from the printing press.
