The incident took place at a jewelry factory located in the Mahidharpura area of Surat, where the factory owner had trusted one of his employees with major responsibilities. But that same employee allegedly betrayed the owner and escaped after stealing gold and precious diamonds worth nearly ₹30.42 lakh.

According to reports, the accused carefully collected valuable gold ornaments and expensive diamonds from the factory before fleeing from the spot. However, despite the planning, the entire act was captured on the factory’s CCTV cameras.

The footage clearly shows how the employee executed the theft inside the factory, turning what looked like trust into a major financial blow for the owner.

Now, Mahidharpura Police, Surat, has registered a case and launched a manhunt. Investigators are using the CCTV footage to track down the accused.

This shocking incident has once again raised a serious question…
