After the formation of Municipal Corporation in 1994, Kiran Maheshwari was the first Mayor here from 1994 to 1999.... After this Yudhishthir Kumawat was the Mayor and held the tenure from 1999 to 2004... Ravindra Shrimali was the Mayor from 2004 to 2009 and after this the public again expressed continuous trust in BJP and Rajni Dangi remained on this post from 2009 to 2014.... In 2014 the party councilors elected Chandrasingh Kothari as the Mayor And after the term ended in 2019, BJP again occupied the Municipal Corporation... This time, Govind Singh Tak, who is the outgoing mayor, sat on the post of Mayor.... Now the elections to be held this year are postponed for the time being and administrators have been appointed by the state government....
