Banswara-Dungarpur MP Rajkumar Roat from Bharat Adivasi Party met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi. Both discussed about the development of the region including Banswara and Dungarpur. During this, MP Roat demanded the creation of a Bhil state, drinking water and irrigation project for Dungarpur-Banswara and Bharat Ratna for Birsa Munda. The MP also handed over a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi with 17 demands. The Prime Minister also assured to consider all his demands positively. The discussion between the two lasted for about 20 minutes. During the meeting, Banswara-Dungarpur MP Rajkumar Roat raised the demand for the creation of a Bhil state along with the demand for development in Banswara-Dungarpur and Bharat Ratna for Birsa Munda. In which, especially under the agreement between Rajasthan and Gujarat on 10 January 1966 regarding Mahi and Kadana, out of 77 TMC water, 40 TMC water should be reserved for Gujarat and 16 TMC water should be given to Rajasthan.

Demands put before Prime Minister Modi

1. Demand for drinking water and irrigation project for Dungarpur-Banswara by fulfilling the conditions of the Gujarat-Rajasthan agreement made at the time of construction of Mahi-Kadana dam in 1966.

2. Demand to form Bhil Pradesh by combining some parts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra.

3. Demand to issue work order for drinking water project from Kadana to Ganji Ghata approved for Rs 886 crore for Chaurasi Vidhan Sabha constituency in the budget session 2022.

4. Demand to stop the proposed Tiger Project across the country in view of deaths caused by wild animals and displacement of tribals.

5. In view of the long term adverse effects of the proposed nuclear power plant in Banswara district, stop the nuclear power plant by setting up some other project on the unclaimed land.

6. Open migrant education centres for education of the children of labourers working in Gujarat.

7. Declare 9th August, World Tribal Day, declared by the United Nations, a public holiday across the country.

8. Demand to implement the Migrant Labour Medical Scheme for the treatment of migrant labourers working in Gujarat.

9. Open an additional Navodaya school in Dungarpur.

10. Complying with the order of the Supreme Court's Samata Judgment 1997 in the Scheduled Area, create cooperative societies for the local tribes and give them ownership rights in mining.

11. Posthumously award Bharat Ratna to Birsa Munda, Mama Baleshwar, Tantya Mama Bhil.

12. Open modern hostels for SC community candidates in the parliamentary constituency Banswara.

13. Demand to open a sports university in the parliamentary constituency Banswara.

14. To open high level tribal coaching centers in the parliamentary constituency Banswara for admission in prestigious institutes like IIT, NEET and IIM.

15. To open skill development colleges under Kaushal Sakshamta Yojana.

16. To open new AIIMS in tribal dominated areas of Rajasthan.

17. To accept all the applications for PM Sahayata Nidhi from Banswara-Dungarpur district and provide financial assistance.
