Saini's leadership has been instrumental in the BJP's victory in the 2024 Haryana elections, where they secured 48 out of 90 seats, surpassing the majority mark. The BJP's victory comes despite challenges from the opposition, with Saini's strong OBC backing playing a key role.
Several cabinet ministers will also be sworn in alongside Saini, although the final list of ministers hasn't been officially confirmed yet. Expectations are that key allies and figures from his administration will be included​
