Chittorgarh. The monthly district level public hearing was organized on Thursday in the video conferencing room of DOIT under the chairmanship of District Collector Alok Ranjan. During this period, a total of 20 complaints related to electricity, drinking water, pension, land disputes and other civil facilities were presented, many of which were resolved on the spot. Instructions were given to take necessary action on drinking water problem due to lack of tap connection in a new colony located near Gangaur Garden, especially. In addition, a quick solution was also ensured on the dispute related to the land of the Municipal Council, correction in the name of agricultural land, and electricity connection problems. In Jansunwai, a disabled woman appeared before the District Collector and shared her family and economic problems. The woman said that she is living by running temporary vegetables and grocery shops in the city and is not getting any support from the family. District Collector Alok Ranjan, after hearing his agony, directed Subdivision Officer Chittorgarh to provide immediate assistance. Although the land dispute was pending in the court, immediate action was not possible at the administrative level, yet the woman was given all possible support. After the meeting, the District Collector also held a meeting of district level officers and communicated with the subdivision officials through video conferencing and reviewed the list of gram panchayats affected by drinking water supply, the status of tanker supply and necessary arrangements.
