Subhash Lal reports from Kharagpur. The situation became strange at Kharagpur railway station in West Bengal, when a passenger narrowly escaped death. But the TTE who came in between saved the passenger from death. Or rather, this TTE pulled this passenger back from the clutches of Yamraj. Just two seconds delay and the passenger could have lost his life.
According to the information, two railway ticket checking staff CCTC Rakesh Kumar Pandey and Vinay Kumar Chaudhary were on duty at Tatanagar railway station in Kharagpur. Meanwhile, at around 6:15 am, Steel Express was leaving from platform number one and a passenger was running to board the train. Then the passenger's foot slipped and he lost balance and fell down from the door between the platform and the track and started dragging. Then what happened, senior CCTC Rakesh Kumar Pandey standing there caught him without losing a moment and pulled him away and saved his life. Meanwhile other people also came forward to help. And the injured passenger was sent for first aid. Everyone present there appreciated CCTC Rakesh Kumar Pandey and thanked him for saving the life of the passenger. They said that a railway staff should be like this, he should keep his own life aside and save the life of others first. It is being told that this passenger was going from Tatanagar to Ghatshila, where the railway staff took the injured passenger from Tatanagar to Ghatshila after treatment and handed him over to his family. But here the saying came true that "Jaake rakho saiyan...maar sake na koi". At present, God had to save him and he came in the guise of this Rakesh Kumar Pandey and saved his life and went away.
