Hariram, a resident of Rajod village in Jayal tehsil of Nagaur, was martyred in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. He was posted as a Havildar and was martyred in an accident in Bandipora, Jammu and Kashmir. When the news of Hariram's martyrdom reached Rajod village, the entire village was in mourning. His niece and nephew were to get married in February. For this, Hariram was going to take leave on 25 January. But when Hariram's body reached the village wrapped in the tricolour, there was an outcry in the family. After reaching the village, he was cremated with military honours. Hariram was the youngest among the brothers and loved his nephews and nieces very much. Hariram's wife, Veerangna Preeti, was in a bad state from crying. She was fainting repeatedly. Son Naveen and daughter Vandana were sobbing. They were looking at every passer-by with wide eyes. As if he was not aware of any accident or news till now. But seeing his innocent age, the eyes of every villager were getting wet. Hariram's wife Veerangna Preeti said that he never used to get angry and they had talked on the phone on 4th January. He had said that he is going to the camp now and will reach the camp at 2 pm. Will talk later. But the accident happened before reaching the camp.
